My Story
Hey, I’m Adam. Thanks for visiting Mr D’s Fitness!
I help men and women over 40 become happier, healthier, fitter, and stronger while working around career and family life.

I’ve been a personal trainer since 2015. I initially became passionate about health and fitness in my late teens, when training with weights in the gym helped me overcome low confidence and self-esteem.
Fast forward to 2015, and I set up shop on my own as a freelance personal trainer to try and give other people a little bit of what I got.
Being self-employed, a husband, and a father to a one year-old toddler and a nine year-old with a rare genetic disorder, I know just how hectic and stressful life can be. However, it has given me a new perspective on fitness and nutrition, and I’m grateful for the understanding of how tough it can be to fit family, career, friends, and your own health into life.
I’m not the kind of trainer who will enforce strict rules on you around exercise and food. I’ll encourage you to include whatever kind of food you enjoy and move in whatever way you like. I’m a firm believer in us working together as a team, and I will aim to coach you with that in mind at all times.
